Clinical Psychologist

A compassionate space to explore eating disorders, body image and emotional wellbeing

Eating disorders and disordered eating · Body image concerns · Anxiety and OCD · Perfectionism · Pregnancy and motherhood · Identity and life transitions

Navigating difficulties with food, body image, anxiety or perfectionism can feel overwhelming. Therapy offers a space to explore these experiences with compassion, without judgement or blame. Support is also available for women navigating the emotional, relational and identity changes that can accompany the journey towards and through motherhood.

Hi, I’m Sophie (she/her), a Clinical Psychologist, Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician and Board-Approved Supervisor. I bring warmth, curiosity and compassion to my work, creating a space where you can feel understood, be yourself and speak openly. My approach is trauma-informed, weight-inclusive and affirming of body diversity, gender diversity and neurodiversity.

I work with adults experiencing eating disorders, difficulties with food and body image, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and the pressures associated with perfectionism and high achievement. I also support women through pregnancy, motherhood and related changes in identity, relationships and wellbeing.

Therapy shaped around you

I believe a trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation of meaningful change. We work collaboratively to understand your experiences, identify goals that matter to you and explore challenges at a pace that feels right.

I draw on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), alongside specialist eating disorder treatments including CBT-E, SSCM and DBT-E. Therapy is tailored to your individual needs, with a focus on building self-acceptance, supporting meaningful change and helping you feel seen, understood and supported.

Steady support through pregnancy, parenthood and personal change

Perinatal mental health · Anxiety and depression · Grief and loss · Emotional regulation

Pregnancy, parenthood, grief and changes in your relationships can bring feelings that are difficult to untangle. You may be looking for support with anxiety or low mood, or space to understand how life is changing and what that means for you.

Hi, I’m Ashlea, a Registered Psychologist with a strong interest in perinatal mental health. I support people experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, difficulties with emotional regulation, changes in identity and relationship stress.

A calm, practical approach

I bring a steady presence to therapy and take time to build a trusting relationship. My approach is inclusive and trauma-informed, with room to explore your experiences, strengthen self-understanding and consider what support would be useful in your everyday life.

I draw on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), tailoring our work to your needs. We work together, combining reflection with practical strategies rather than expecting you to have everything figured out before you begin.

Outside of work, you’ll find me keeping active, spending time at the beach or enjoying time with my young family.

Anthea Sullivan

Registered Psychologist & Psychosexual Therapist

A place to talk about sexual wellbeing, intimacy and reproductive challenges

Sexual desire, arousal and orgasm · Sexual pain · Fertility-related concerns · Relationships and emotional wellbeing

Changes in sexual desire, sexual pain, or concerns about arousal and orgasm can feel difficult to talk about. These concerns are welcome in therapy, alongside the emotional challenges of fertility treatment, relationships and major life changes.

Hi, I’m Anthea, a Registered Psychologist and Psychosexual Therapist. My work focuses on the connection between mental wellbeing and sexual health. I offer an inclusive, trauma-informed space to explore the more personal and vulnerable parts of your sexual and emotional experiences.

I support people navigating infertility and assisted reproductive technology, as well as anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation and relationship concerns. My practice includes support for people in diverse relationship structures.

Therapy shaped around you

You do not need to have the right words or a clear explanation of what is happening before we begin. We can explore your experiences together and identify what you would like to understand or change.

I draw on cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, EMDR and Schema Therapy, alongside somatic-based frameworks such as Sensate Focus. The approach we take is tailored to your needs, with attention to both sexual and emotional wellbeing.

Courtney Carruthers

Registered Psychologist

Children, adolescents and adults

Support that makes room for individual differences

Support for autistic people and people with ADHD · Anxiety and depression · Trauma · Parenting and caregiver support

Whether you’re looking for support for yourself or a young person in your care, therapy should take account of the individual—not expect everyone to fit the same approach.

Hi, I’m Courtney, a Registered Psychologist working with children, adolescents and adults. I support people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and behavioural difficulties, as well as autistic people and people with ADHD. I also work with parents and caregivers as they navigate the needs of the children and young people in their care.

Understanding the person, not just the difficulty

My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed and person-centred. I focus on helping you understand yourself more deeply, develop self-compassion and feel more connected to others, at a pace that respects your needs.

I bring experience across private practice, behaviour support and crisis intervention. In sessions, I draw on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), EMDR and relational therapies, adapting the work to the person in front of me.

Creating a supportive relationship matters to me. I want therapy to be a place where you can be yourself while exploring the difficulties that brought you here.

Sarah van Ree

Registered Psychologist (telehealth only)

Practical telehealth support for fertility, parenthood and life’s changes

Perinatal mental health · Fertility and IVF · Parenting and family transitions · Anxiety, depression and burnout · Supervision

You may be navigating fertility treatment, adjusting to parenthood or finding that the demands of life are affecting your confidence and wellbeing. Therapy with me offers space to understand what is happening and work towards practical strategies you can use day to day.

Hi, I’m Sarah. I’ve worked as a psychologist since 2010 and have provided therapy via telehealth since 2020. I enjoy helping people recognise their strengths, values and skills, and build a stronger sense of confidence and security.

Support through family-building and beyond

I have 10 years’ experience supporting mothers, fathers and non-birthing partners through the perinatal period. This includes pre-conception, infertility, IVF, grief and loss, birth trauma, perinatal anxiety and depression, and the transition to parenthood. I also support people as families grow, relationships change and parenting brings new challenges. My trauma work is limited to non-complex presentations.

Beyond my perinatal work, I support people experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout and adjustment to new stressors or life stages.

Warm, predictable and practical

My style is open and curious, with a predictable structure and an emphasis on everyday strategies. I draw on cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy and attachment theory. As a Circle of Security Facilitator, I can also incorporate this content into our sessions.

Professional supervision

I’m a Board-Approved Supervisor and offer professional supervision alongside my therapy work.

Teresa Sartor

Registered Psychologist (telehealth only)

Support when the path to parenthood is uncertain

Infertility and IVF · Pregnancy loss and pregnancy after loss · Perinatal anxiety and depression · Early parenthood

Trying to build a family can involve uncertainty, loss and decisions you never expected to face. Whether you’re navigating fertility treatment, pregnancy after loss or the transition to parenthood, there is room to talk about the experience you are having—not the one you feel you should be having.

Hi, I’m Teresa, a Registered Psychologist with over eight years’ experience in perinatal mental health and a special interest in reproductive mental health. I support women and couples through infertility, IVF, pregnancy loss, pregnancy after loss and alternative pathways to parenthood.

I also work with women during pregnancy and the early parenting years, including those experiencing perinatal anxiety and depression, birth trauma, grief, parenting challenges and major changes in their lives. More broadly, I support women with anxiety and stress.

Space to be heard, with practical support

I see therapy as something we do together. I take a warm, practical approach, shaped around what you need at this point in your life. My work draws primarily on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), alongside attachment-informed, grief-informed and trauma-informed approaches.

I have completed specialised reproductive and perinatal mental health training through the University of Sydney, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Seleni Institute and the Centre of Perinatal Excellence. I’m also a Circle of Security Facilitator.

Harbir Kaur

Registered Psychologist

Support with anxiety, self-criticism, food and body image

Anxiety and OCD · Disordered eating and body image · Perfectionism and self-criticism · Trauma and grief

You can bring the things you find hardest to talk about to therapy, including worries about food or your body, harsh self-criticism, shame or the pressure to get everything right.

Hi, I’m Harbir, a Registered Psychologist. I support people experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma and grief, as well as disordered eating, body image concerns, perfectionism and burnout. My work also includes support for autistic people and people with ADHD.

I have a strong interest in relationship and parenting challenges, changes in identity and transitions between life stages. Together, we can explore what these experiences mean for you and what you would like to be different.

Curiosity rather than judgement

I value the trust involved in sharing your story. My approach is collaborative, inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed, with a focus on understanding your experiences rather than making assumptions about them.

I draw on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy-informed strategies. Affirming support for neurodivergent women and women living with chronic pain

Autistic women and women with ADHD · Chronic pain · Anxiety and trauma · Perinatal mental health

Your experiences of neurodivergence, pain and mental wellbeing deserve to be understood in the context of your life. Therapy with me makes room for that fuller picture, rather than focusing only on the concern that brought you through the door.

Hi, I’m Natalie, a neurodivergent Registered Psychologist with a particular interest in supporting autistic women and women with ADHD. I also have a strong interest in supporting women living with chronic pain conditions, including endometriosis, adenomyosis and chronic pelvic pain.

Alongside this work, I support people experiencing anxiety, grief, trauma and perinatal mental health concerns.

Relaxed, collaborative and affirming

I bring an empathetic, non-judgemental approach to therapy, with neurodiversity-affirming and gender-affirming care at the centre of my practice. Building a trusting relationship matters to me. We work together to understand your experiences and shape sessions around your individual needs.

I draw on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), EMDR, and somatic and sensory-based approaches. I take a holistic view, considering your overall wellbeing as well as the difficulties you would like support with.
