About Happy Minds Psychology

Happy Minds Psychology is a psychology practice based in Geelong, offering professional psychological services and mental health support to individuals, couples and families both in person and via telehealth across Australia. Our underpinning philosophy is to provide high-quality, evidence-based care within a space that feels safe, respectful, and genuinely collaborative. We recognise that each person’s journey is unique, and we tailor our approach to ensure every client feels heard, understood, and supported.

Our team is made up of experienced and registered psychologists who bring together clinical expertise, warmth and compassionate care to every session. We are committed to thoughtful, reflective practice and ongoing professional development, ensuring the therapy we provide is grounded in best practice while also being responsive, relational, and deeply attuned to the people we support.

Who we are

At Happy Minds Psychology, we work with clients across a wide range of areas including emotional wellbeing, life transitions, trauma, anxiety, relationships and workplace stress. Our approach is person-centred and grounded in evidence-based therapeutic frameworks that support meaningful progress. We aim to create a space where you can safely explore your experiences, make sense of your feelings, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

We believe that the relationship between client and psychologist is central to therapeutic success. That’s why we prioritise creating a safe, trusting and non-judgmental space where you feel heard, understood and supported throughout your therapy.

Our values

Our practice is guided by a set of core values:

  • Respect: We treat every individual with dignity and empathy.
  • Collaboration: Therapy is a shared process that values your insights and goals.
  • Integrity: We uphold professional standards and ethical practice in all interactions.
  • Growth: We support clients to develop insight, resilience and capacity for change.

Our approach

We draw on evidence-based therapies tailored to the presenting concern, including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and trauma-informed interventions. Our psychologists work collaboratively with you to establish goals, explore patterns and develop effective skills for managing life’s challenges.

We offer services both in-person in Geelong and via telehealth to ensure flexibility and accessibility. Telehealth sessions are conducted through secure video platforms and provide the same quality of care as face-to-face appointments.

Commitment to community

Happy Minds Psychology is committed to supporting the broader community through accessible mental health resources, education and clinical excellence. We regularly update our blog with insights on well-being, mental health topics and practical tips for everyday life.

Whether you are new to therapy or returning for additional support, our team at Happy Minds Psychology is here to walk alongside you offering steady, compassionate, and collaborative support every step of the way.
